Area VI McKinney-Vento Homeless Program

ROE 21’s McKinney-Vento program is funded by a grant from the US Department of Education through the Illinois State Board of Education and serves the school districts in the lower 27 counties of Illinois. The program provides training and support to local school district liaisons to assist in the identification of McKinney-Vento eligible students. Program staff also network with community agencies to find resources for school supplies, clothing, transportation, and other items necessary for students to regularly attend school.
