Brain Games Competition – 5th & 6th Grade

We are thrilled to announce a new and engaging academic competition that promises to ignite creative thinking and problem-solving skills in students across our region. ROE #21 is proud to present Brain Games, a captivating event that fosters friendly competition, teamwork, and intellectual growth.

Location: Pavilion of the City of Marion, 1602 Sioux Drive, Marion, IL 62959

 

About Brain Games:

Brain Games is designed to provide students with an exciting opportunity to showcase their intellectual prowess while enjoying a tropical-themed atmosphere. Teams of four students from the specified grade levels will engage in a series of challenges that test their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

 

Participating Grade Levels:

November 14, 2023 – Third & Fourth Grade

November 15, 2023 – Fifth & Sixth Grade

November 16, 2023 – Seventh & Eighth Grade

November 17, 2023 – High School 9-12

*Schools may bring up to two teams per grade level.

 

Regional Brain Games Competition:

The stakes are high, as the top six teams from each age bracket will earn the chance to advance to the Regional Brain Games Competition at Rend Lake College in March 2024.  The Regional Competition will include teams from ROE 12, ROE 13, ROE 20, ROE 21, ROE 30.  The event will be the ultimate showcase of academic excellence, where teams will compete against the best minds from our area. We invite you to join us in fostering a culture of intellectual growth, teamwork, and friendly competition. Brain Games promises an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impact on our students’ educational journeys.
