Is It Sensory or Is It Behavior?

In this session, we will explore sensory processing and examine the varied sensory needs of children within educational settings. We will also explore the sensory preferences of both educators and students. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises using sensory assessment tools to gain insights into student needs in the classroom. Additionally, we will discuss and implement sensory support tools and activities designed to improve student learning and support social and emotional development. This session is worth 5 PD/CEU credits.
