LETRS Training

Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling helps teachers apply The Science of Reading research into classroom practice allowing them to teach language and literacy skills to every student, no matter the curriculum or program your district uses.

In-Person Dates:

• Friday October 2, 2026
• Friday December 11, 2026
• Friday February 26, 2027
• Friday May 14, 2027

Requirements:

• Must be approved through school district/ROE/Special Education Cooperative
• Time Commitment starting August 1, 2026; 1.5-2 hours per week for online modules
• Four workshops facilitated by the IL SLD Support Project
• Price includes participant bundle for Volume 1
