As James Comer states, “No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship.”  Students need to know we care and learn to care about others. This workshop focuses on practical ways to incorporate SEL in your daily activities. Topics such as The Energy Bus for Kids, One Word for Kids, growth mindset, and mindfulness will be addressed. Examples of classroom practices will be shared. Participants will be asked to complete a Happiness Game Plan to record ideas to use in their classroom. So come join us and develop a plan for you to bring happiness on daily basis to your students! Participants are asked to bring a device to the training.
