Regional Office of Education #21 is seeking applicants for

Mathematics Instructional Coach

 

ROE21 is seeking an experienced Mathematics Instructional Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mathematics education and possess exceptional communication skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Attend Professional Learning Opportunities to enhance current skill base.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design, implement, and evaluate effective math instruction.
  • Provide ongoing support and professional development for teachers.
  • Assist in analyzing student data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist districts in the alignment of math curricula to state and national standards.
  • Facilitate professional learning focused on math instruction and student achievement.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in math education and share findings with staff.
  • Support the integration of technology into math instruction.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative school culture focused on continuous improvement and student success.
  • Assist with additional projects as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Illinois Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with endorsement in Mathematics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in math instruction and curriculum development.
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring teachers preferred.
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform instruction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.

 

SALARY / BENEFITS: 210-day position with salary and benefits.
