The Stress & Trauma Treatment Center is seeking applicants for a new initiative – REACH Out.
These positions will work within a statewide effort led by the Illinois State Board of Education to expand trauma-informed school mental health services for youth at-risk or currently enrolled in an alternative education/safe school program. These new positions will be placed in a district with a high rate of referral to alternative education/safe school programs or within a safe schools program in southern Illinois.
Positions will provide comprehensive mental health services in collaboration with the alternative education/safe schools programs within the region. These positions will be integrated within the district and follow a school schedule (with options to buy out summer months).
