K.I.D.S. (Kids in Difficult Situations)

Each year we have more requests for help than we have resources to provide assistance to the students in our schools. In order to fill these requests, members of the education community in Franklin and Williamson Counties formed a non-profit organization to provide school supplies, clothing, emergency health care (including medical, dental, and eye care), educational field trips, and scholarships. Funds for our services are obtained by payroll deductions from school personnel, soliciting contributions from local businesses, and holding fundraising activities. While this non-profit organization is not part of the Regional Office of Education, ROE #21 covers all overhead expenses therefore, 100% of all contributions go directly to our “K.I.D.S.” Anyone wishing to contribute to this organization please contact one of the above persons.
